Founded in 2020, **Augment Music Project**, a fiscal sponsee of **Telluride Arts**, is dedicated to supporting the local music scene in the Telluride area. They believe that the vibrancy of Telluride's music scene extends beyond the major festivals and includes a very talented group of musicians who call this area home. 

Since 2023, Augment Music Project has been actively involved in Telluride Arts’ annual grant program, providing the funding and grant committee for the music category. The review and selection process aligns with the broader goals of the grant program, with a strong emphasis on the community impact of each application.

To date, Augment Music Project has awarded grants to 12 musicians/ensembles within the Telluride region. These funds have helped recipients advance their careers in various ways, including studio time, equipment purchases, and music video production. 

Augment Grant applicants are limited to one submission per grant cycle. Multiple applications for the same musician will not be considered, excepting applications submitted by another musician on behalf of an ensemble or collaborative project which a solo applicant is also a member of.

Musician Grants | Augment Music Project

A subset of Telluride Arts’ Artist Grants \[TAAGs\] program, Community Program Grants operate on an annual basis, awarding one $2,500 grant to an artist or nonprofit organization within the Telluride region. This grant is designed to support community programming hosted within and intended for the Telluride community. As with all TAAGs, community benefit is at the heart of the program and must be clearly outlined in the application. 

TAAG applicants are limited to one submission per grant cycle. Multiple applications by the same artist will not be considered. If an artist submits an application for a Professional Development grant, they will be ineligible to apply for additional TAAGs within the same calendar year, excepting Flash Grants.

All TAAGs are subject to blind reviews by designated committees or juror panels. All personal details and obvious indicators of applicant identity are removed prior to review.

Program Grant

A subset of Telluride Arts’ Artist Grants \[TAAGs\] program, Professional Development Grants are broken into two categories, visual and performing arts\* and open to artists and nonprofit organizations within the Telluride region. Grants are set at $2,500 and awarded annually to an applicant within each category, who effectively demonstrates their commitment towards professional development, the advancement of their craft, and the enrichment of the Telluride community through their artistic pursuits. As with all TAAGs, community benefit is at the heart of the program and must be clearly outlined in the application.

TAAG applicants are limited to one submission per grant cycle. Multiple applications by the same artist will not be considered. Professional Development Grants 

A subset of **Telluride Arts’ Artist Grants** \[TAAGs\] program, Flash Grants operate on a quarterly basis, awarding five $250 grants per cycle. These grants are designed and awarded for artistic endeavours that are smaller in scale, provide clear community benefit and require limited monetary support towards project initiation, sustainment or completion. As with all TAAGs, community benefit is at the heart of the program and must be clearly outlined in the application. 

Flash Grant applicants are limited to one submission per grant cycle. Multiple applications by the same artist will not be considered. Applications submitted after the quarterly deadline will not be considered. 

All TAAGs are subject to blind reviews by a designated committees or juror panels. All personal details and obvious indicators of applicant identity are removed prior to review.
