For the third time now, Fumetto, together with the Foundation Weltethos Switzerland, is awarding the PULSAR comic sponsorship prize: the award goes to a young talent, at the beginning of a promising comic career. Are you a comic artist, a yet undiscovered star in the comic cosmos? Then send us your idea!

The theme of the PULSAR 2025 is “LIGHT / SHADOW”. The Pulsar comic should have an explicit reference to the basic idea and obligations of the Weltethos project (for further information see also the “Declaration of the global ethos”).

Fumetto and the Foundation Weltethos Switzerland will select a winner from the dossiers received by the end of October 2024. The project starts with a kick-off meeting as soon as possible at the end of October with the artist, Fumetto and the Foundation Weltethos Switzerland, including an inspection of the exhibition location in the Heiliggeistkapelle in Lucerne.

The production period for the comic is from the end of October 2024 to the end of February 2025. In January 2025 there will be a joint update meeting with Fumetto and the Foundation Weltethos Switzerland. The comic should be completed by the beginning of March 2025, the exact date for the print deadline is yet to be announced.

The exhibition construction will take place between March 24th and April 4th, 2025, with support from the Fumetto construction team. The award ceremony will take place as part of Fumetto on Saturday, April 12, 2025, at 4 p.m.
