Overview

Chromart Art Magazine is excited to announce our open call for the upcoming publication! We welcome bold, innovative, and thought-provoking works that explore the intersection of colour, form, and narrative in contemporary art.

This edition will focus on “Chromatic Transitions”, a theme inspired by the shifting landscapes of art and society. We invite submissions that reflect on colour as a vehicle for change—whether social, environmental, emotional, or artistic.

We’re looking for:

  • Visual Art: Paintings, digital art, photography, sculpture, installations, and mixed media works that challenge traditional boundaries of colour and composition.
  • Writing: Essays, artist interviews, and critical reviews that explore colour theory, the symbolism of colour in art history, or contemporary artists who use colour as a primary language.
  • Short Films & Multimedia: Video art, short films, or interactive works incorporating chromatic storytelling or experimental use of light and shade.

Submission Guidelines:

  • Visual Art: Submit up to 5 high-resolution images (JPEG/PNG format) with titles, dimensions, and medium details.
  • Writing: Submit up to 2,000 words in a Word or PDF document.
  • Short Films/Multimedia: Submit video links (Vimeo or YouTube) and a brief synopsis and artist statement.

All submissions should be accompanied by an artist bio (max. 200 words) and a short statement about the submitted work (max. 300 words).

How to Submit: Send your submissions to chromartgallery@gmail.com with the subject line: Chromart Magazine.

Selected artists will be featured in our digital edition, with the opportunity to showcase their work to an international audience of collectors, curators, and art enthusiasts.

We look forward to seeing your work and celebrating the power of colour in contemporary art!
