Giga is excited to announce our inaugural competition with the theme "The Joy of Connection".

  
We will have a panel of 6 esteemed jury members from around the world. The judging will be held on 6 and 7 May, 2025 in Geneva and winners will be announced on our social media channels.

  
Launched in 2019, Giga is a partnership between UNICEF and ITU that aims to connect every school in the world to the Internet. At Giga, we understand that photography, when coupled with the internet, is a powerful tool of connecting us with the world. This is why we aim to launch the Giga Photo Contest, based in Geneva, on the theme, _"The Joy of Connection",_ to highlight the role internet connectivity plays in providing information, opportunity, and choice.
