_Untitled\_Inked.mp4_ is presented as a short film, depicting a narrative in which an autonomous mechanical object, capable of inscribing images onto skin, acts upon a subject, imprinting images onto his eyes and, by extension, his subconscious. The work parallels the screen or frame as a medium for images with the human mind as a potential canvas for them. It questions the effects of graphic symbols, the meanings assigned to images, and their respective contexts within the human psyche.

_Peso\_Muerto.mp4_ documents in digital video an action performed in October 2021 in Lurín, south of Lima. The scene captures in a low-angle shot, the movement of a body suspended by a crane. The action reinterprets the _"deus ex machina”, plot_ device used to conclude an insoluble problem through an unexpected occurrence, as employed in ancient Greek theatre by recurring to a mechanical apparatus to present godly characters. In this case, the device takes an inverse turn, not introducing an all-powerful incarnated intervention, but rather the opposite— an impotence subjugated to an inhuman power. The scene is presented in black and white, referencing the early cinematic use of moving images as a historical milestone in the technical representation of narratives and Being.

_“Romper la Inercia” places six kinetic sculptures presented as an installation. Their running motors are synchronized and controlled by an electrical board that keeps them in a loop for 15 seconds of activity followed by 5 minutes of rest. This creates two distinct moments that re-produce the exhibition space, conceived not as a polarized dichotomy but as a fluid continuum of space and time. During the static interval, the works' surface reflects the past, through motion, they instantiate the future. The serialized, thus imperfectly replicated continuity alludes the incessant rhythm of productive logic and rationality against entropy._
