Fable

Surrounded by the vast expanse of the universe we are but microscopic creatures, no bigger than specks of dust. And yet, each and everyone of us carries an immense universe within themselves. After all, everything is connected and part of the same cycle. Using grand-scale images and music, 'Origin' depicts the very source of life in a poetic and abstract way. As such, it enables the audience to reawaken the conflicting emotions and irrational views they may have experienced over the course of their lifetime. Life, in and of itself, constitutes dazzling beauty, hope, happiness and light. At the same time, it can be meaningless and shallow, leading to despair, fear, sorrow and gloom.

Origin

The animation **‘ORBIT’**, which cyclically transitions between day and night, is a 4K media art piece composed of 5 layers. These layers represent: space, time, life, humanity, and the framework that ties these four elements together. Each layer invites the audience to discover stories corresponding to its theme. In terms of technique, the traditional method of stacking layers in cell animation has been reinterpreted in a modern and spatial context. This adds significant technical and conceptual value to the animation.

8K non-narrative animation installation showcasing various aspects of the humanity : religion, class struggle, racism, war and terrorism, on a loop at a massive scale. This piece was Academy nominated in 2021.
