We all have our secrets, and our places, that keep them hidden.
When we are sad, mad, want to get away, or play.
There is our secret (hiding) place. 
To hold our secrets,
 to hold our pain,
when no one else will, 
where there is no shame.

Memories of my younger self staring off into the stained glass windows during church. The church was very large and comprised of limestone and stone inside, causing loud echoes of any noise. Thus, echoes of light.

I took a trip back to my childhood home, where everything was so green. I walked to the backyard and visited the trees; the trees I remember planting when we first built the house. My, how they had grown! I walked up to one and placed my hand on it's bark, noticing it's curves and edges, its roughness. The sun was starting to set as the lightning bugs made their nightly appearance. The leaves shimmered in golds and greens. The moment was so full, so simple.

Moments where nothing particularly extraordinary was happening, except for life itself.
