‘Temporary Wall’ is an artwork constructed using the exact techniques typically employed for building a simple partition wall in an apartment building. The sculpture utilizes the same, inexpensive materials often found in dumpsters outside of apartment renovations.

Temporary Wall

This work is an exploration of the essence of human identity. The skull and ribs, created through the collage technique, serve as a metaphor for an X-ray - a tool that allows us to look beyond the physical shell of a person and glimpse their inner truth. The title “I See You/Myself Through” highlights the duality of perception: it’s about how we see ourselves and how we perceive others, about the desire for understanding and acceptance of the genuine human nature.

  
The eye placed within the skull symbolizes both self-reflection and the conscious act of understanding others. This “all-seeing eye” embodies the idea of looking beyond external masks, uncovering layers of vulnerability and truth.

THE GOLDEN SPLASH

This piece was inspired by Self-Control & Temptation and the ways it can Manifest. I found out being in Therapy, it doesn’t matter how much you consume yourself in self-improvement if you are indulging yourself in things that make you feel good for a temporary time, there will always be some kind of dissatisfaction.

Dopamine the chemical neurotransmitter; a natural drug the body makes and it plays a big part of our human ability to think and plan. It helps us strive, focus, and find things interesting. Too much or too little of it can lead to a vast range of Health issues.

Being Aware of the outputs & inputs of your body and your surroundings + therapy; I found it’s a good way to stay in Peace. Since Dopamine can be the reason as to why you’re in a Sad or Happy state of mind; make sure to know how you’re feeding it!

"Jelly Snail" 

“Konsum” is an interactive object with its own situational soundtrack. It reacts to the distance to people, their speed of approach and their approximate number. Heart rate, breathing, core color, but also the advertising intensity of the displays adapt to the environment. The object, stuffed full of plastic, is held together by cable ties, old screws, adhesive tape and perforated tape. A makeshift and patchwork, like our societies and systems.

For many who do not fit the conventional standards of size, moving through daily life involves constant encounters with societal expectations. These can come in the form of media images, fashion trends, and even everyday interactions that favor or idealize a thinner body type. The pressure to conform can be intense and often painful.

  
In this challenging landscape, “Grace Under Pressure” symbolizes extraordinary strength and elegance. This grace is an active reclaiming of space and identity.
