Working off of a recent series contemplating cycles of history and political/psychological trends, this series moves more towards form and composition. An underlying field in our everyday lives, I tried here to represent not a specific figure or narrative but how the procession of time may look deep within its own fabric.

Geometric_Liquids

Patterns occurring in deceptively inconsistent replications.
These patterns emerge from thoughts that connect to both immediate and ancient histories developing and foreshadowing shifts of consciousness.
Individual cycles merging with cycles of history.

Psychological Patterns

I started working on these drawings at a weekly drop-in figure drawing session. From the sketches done at the session I then reworked them and gave the figures a narrative twist. They became isolated figures who speak not only through minimal context but through body language.
