call for commission: sculpture for arts park

Wayne Center for the Arts invites proposals from artists for a commissioned sculpture to be installed at our upcoming Arts Park. The sculpture should embody themes of creativity, community, joy, art enrichment, and inclusivity. The artwork will prominently feature varying components where donor names can be tastefully integrated, celebrating their contributions without overwhelming the artistic vision.

Specifications:

• Completion Deadline: Sculpture must be completed and installed by June 30, 2026.
• Theme: Creativity, community, joy, art enrichment, inclusivity.
• Materials: Durable materials suitable for outdoor installation.
• Dimensions: Flexible within reasonable outdoor sculpture dimensions.
• Recognition: The sculpture should be able to tastefully recognize 250-300 donors of various giving levels.
