The 19th Annual Sculpture Garden exhibit at the Kemp Center For The Arts in Wichita Falls, Texas is now open for entries. All forms of outdoor sculpture will be considered, provided it meets the requirements of the prospectus (please read specs carefully). The juror for this event is Chad Plunket, Director of the Charles Adams Studio Project in Lubbock, Texas.
The Sculpture Garden was established in the memory of Minnie Rae Wood. It contains nine permanent works. It also showcases 10 pieces in our annual rotating exhibit.
Each May we open the annual Sculpture Garden exhibit, which presents a unique viewing opportunity for our community. Pieces are exhibited for a full 12 months on the grounds of the Kemp.
The artwork is juried by a nationally recognized artist and awards for first, second and third place are also made at the opening of the exhibit.
