This Open Call is only for members of the Fotobus Society (student or under 35 years). You can submit one project, either your own or a group project. A jury will anonymously select 34 works. These works will be exhibited over the course of 4 weeks in the public space of Hanover. Like the previous exhibition showed (Identity, Courage, Love. (2023)), it is likely that the exhibition will travel to different cities afterwards.
Your submitted project needs a maximum of 15 pictures and a short introduction to it. The project does not have to be finished. If the project was part of the 2023 exhibition identity, courage, love. we unfortunately cannot exhibit it this time. The exhibition title is not a thematic limitation. Everyone is encouraged to submit.
What happens in the meantime explores unseen moments between major events inviting reflection on the quiet shifts, everyday realities and unnoticed changes that shape our world beyond the headlines.
The Fotobus Society is a non-profit association and the world's largest student photography network with over 1,500 members. Since it was founded in 2018, we have been offering students of photography, art and design a platform for cultural and international exchange. Our iconic oldtimer bus serves as a mobile classroom with which we organize excursions, workshops and research trips.
