Thank you for your interest in becoming a **Keepsake House 2025 Artist in Residence**! We are welcoming applications from Songwriters and Storytellers to be part of our 2025 season's roundtable shows, connect with diverse artists and engaging audiences, and gain support from us and each other. 

  

**As a Resident, you will:**

* Be a part of at least three shows for the season (February-December 2025) at venues across New York City, such as The Bitter End.
* Perform & converse alongside artists in the NYC community and reach new, respectful, and attentive audiences.
* Have guaranteed live performances with Keepsake House partnerships, including music and storytelling festivals.
* Get inspired by artists outside of your creative medium and create original stories and songs that will be shared at our annual end-of-residency show, From Story to Song, accompanied by a full band.
* Have first dibs to perform at monthly Open Mics and the opportunity to host an entire Open Mic show.
* Receive a stipend upwards of $500 for Songwriters and $300 for Storytellers. This base stipend is guaranteed (assuming completion of the residency), but more will be provided depending on the partnership and festival opportunities in 2025.
