Theme

From deserts and rainforests to city streets and remote villages, Planet Earth celebrates the extraordinary diversity of life and land on our planet. We welcome landscapes, portraits, documentary, abstract, and conceptual photography that reflect humanity’s deep connection to the Earth.

Awards & Recognition

• First Prize: $500 cash award, solo online exhibition, free catalog
• Second & Third Prize: Featured placement, free catalog
• All Selected Artists: Featured in the online exhibition, printed catalog (available via Blurb), digital award badges, and an exhibition video promoted on Decagon’s YouTube channel

Juror

Pinu Rahman — internationally recognized Bangladeshi lifestyle and travel photographer. His work is widely published and celebrated for its authentic storytelling and global perspective.

Eligibility

Open to photographers worldwide, working in any style or subject matter that relates to the theme.

Submission Guidelines

• Up to 10 JPEG images (2100px on long side, max 3MB each)
• Entry Fee: $24 for 1–4 images, $4 each for images 5–8, plus 2 free additional images if 8 are paid
• Deadline: September 30, 2025
• Notification of results: October 15, 2025
• Exhibition opens: November 1, 2025

Rights

Photographers retain full copyright. Selected works may be used for exhibition promotion with credit.
