gallim moving artist parent residency

The 2023 GALLIM Moving Artist Parent Residency is designed to holistically support movement artists who are parent by offering fully-funded, safe and private space, an artist stipend, an optional mentorship session, and an additional childcare stipend. The residency focuses on the creative process with an optional final showing, and nurtures artists at all stages of creation, research, training, and development. This year’s residency will take place at a satellite studio space in NYC of similar dimensions to the Brooklyn GALLIM studios, equipped with a sprung marley floor. Open to, but not limited to, choreographers, educators, filmmakers, and performers.
