ACT is an annual festival that for the duration of four days brings together around a hundred of participants and guests from around the world. The festival has four main sections: the pedagogical program, ACTmosfera encounters, the exhibition shows and **the short pieces contest**. This last one is open to companies and proposals that want to apply and participate in the festival. 

  
**ACT International Festival for Emerging Performing Artists** 22th edition will take place in Bilbao and Barakaldo from **4th to 7th June 2025**. 

**ACT Artistic Residency.** 15 days of residency, including accommodation, per diem, food and travel expenses.

The festival covers the accommodation -**in shared rooms**\- of the interpreters and the necessary technical team of the company; breakfasts, lunches and dinners are also included in the invitation, as well as passes for all the activities that take place during the four days of the festival. These passes include workshops, talks and all the programmed shows. The festival does not cover transport costs, these costs must be covered by the company or institutions contacted by it.

The selected works will be shown during **ACT** Festival according to the program. ACT will have the rights to broadcast the videos of the show sent, extracting fragments of the selected works for publicity, as well as the publication of the photos to promote the event before and around the dates of the festival.

**Awards:**

**ACT main award**: 3.000 € for the production of a new project and an invitation to the next edition of the festival to present the awarded piece and/or a new work in progress. Travel expenses, accommodation, per diem and cachet will be covered by the festival.

**ACT-DURI Korea award** for Best International Emerging Artist, consisting of the opportunity to present a performance at the Duri Dance Theatre in Seoul.
