We live within increasingly polarized technological narratives: between promises of salvation and a technological dystopia that imposes itself as inevitable. But between these two tensions lies a more unstable and fertile space, filled with contradictions, systemic failures, and possibilities yet to be codified.
This open call was born from there.
We seek works that explore possibilities for creative coexistence between humans and machines, between collectives and swarms. We're not interested in technology that saves the world, but in practices that navigate its ambiguities: algorithms that stall on new trajectories, screens teeming with glitches, systems that sabotage themselves to create, artificial intelligences that stop functioning as expected and thus open up new spaces of meaning. We imagine works that stage hybrid relationships, productive tensions, forms of imperfect collaboration between human and nonhuman. Works that inhabit the short circuit between control and loss of control, between automation and desire, between prediction and the unexpected. Archives of other futures in which to dance during an unexpected malfunction. Virtual spaces tense with the body, rhythm, and presence.
We're looking for projects that imagine desirable futures, augmented relationships, and immersive experiences that focus on connection, well-being, creativity, and community. The selected projects will be part of an event that brings together clubbing , audiovisual environments, and new media installations.
