reggio parma festival: training in performing arts
Reggio Parma Festival is calling for applications from creative teams and individual professionals, of any nationality and not over 35 years old, to participate in Gradus, a project aimed at fostering sharing/cross-fertilisation amongst generations of knowledge boosting creative development of new shows.
In 2026, there will be two work sessions where attendance is mandatory:
In Parma, 30 – 31 October and 2 – 4 November 2026: Participation in meetings, classes, seminars and discussions amongst teachers and participants.
In Reggio Emilia, 30 November – 3 December 2026: Classes, seminars and meetings with the management of the theatres to start the participants towards a more precise definition of their project.
At the end of the sessions, the participants shall review and fine-tune their project and send it to the Reggio Parma Festival secretariat by 15 December 2026. In January, three of these shows will be selected to be staged; with the support of Reggio Parma Festival, the shows will be included in the Festival Aperto, Festival Verdi and Teatro Festival, Italy.
