Would you like to learn to work as a specialist in a technical workshop or in a library with a collection? Would you like to do your own research from within a workshop? Do you live and work in the Netherlands?

The Tech Fellowship Programme at the Rijksakademie brings together art and technical expertise. Developed by the Rijksakademie in 2022, it offers artists, makers and designers the chance to work as technical specialists with the aim of preserving traditional craft knowledge and exploring new technologies in the workshops. In this way, we can continue to innovate and respond to contemporary challenges, such as environmental transition and digitalisation.

The next edition of the Tech Fellowship Programme runs from January to December 2027.
