virtual salon performance series for social change 2025

Mark DeGarmo Dance's Virtual Salon Performance Series for Social Change (VSPS) is a showcase of original artistic works-in-progress with facilitated audience response. The VSPS 2025 theme is NO BORDERS, NO HIERARCHIES.

Selected artists will produce and perform a live work-in-progress from a location that they secure and will arrange to play their own audio, as needed from their device in collaboration with MDD’s technical director. There will be one 10-20 -minute dress rehearsal per selected artist arranged with MDD's technical director.

We appreciate your application. Previous VSPS Artists have been hired by U.S. colleges and universities, received invitations to tour locally and internationally, been published in scholarly journals, and had their work professionally reviewed.
