A new exhibition phase is around the corner and Ausstellungsraum Klingental invites artists, curators and collectives to apply with their projects.

We are looking for participatory, process-oriented, intergenerational, transdisciplinary, research-based or experimental ideas. Or something completely different. Possible are exhibitions, performances and musical formats and concepts with different durations such as longer exhibitions, events, series of events and festivals.

The Ausstellungsraum Klingental is located on the ground floor of the Klingental Church on the Kasernenareal and is barrier-free. It consists of two (spatially separated) exhibition spaces and a spacious foyer. Projects can be planed for one exhibition space or for both exhibition spaces.

We offer space for the realization of experimental projects, daring ideas and concrete exhibition concepts. Our program operates at the interface between regional and international contemporary art and is made up of projects from the (annual) Open Call and its own initiatives. Each season we realize around 6 larger and 4 smaller projects, as well as various events. Projects should have a relevant connection to the local art-making - be it through the participants‘ place of residence, the subject matter or an external view onto the region.

We (the board of the Verein Ausstellungsraum Klingental) decide on the selection of projects and support the selected projects and their participants on a voluntary basis in the realization of their ideas.
