office for contemporary art norway - international support

The Office for Contemporary Art Norway (OCA) administers grant funding from the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and the Ministry of Culture. This can be in the form of:

International Support - For artists and art professionals when they are invited to take part in projects abroad.

International Support for Galleries and Independent Exhibition Spaces (ISGIES) - For Norway based contemporary art galleries, independent exhibition spaces and publishers when they represent Norwegian/Norway based artists in fairs abroad.

International Residencies - For longer stays abroad for Norwegian and Norway based artists and curators.

International Support for Art Critics, Curators, Art Magazines and Translation of Text (ISACAT) - For the support of art critics and curators in Norway when, in an active role, they are invited to speak about Norwegian art and artists in exhibitions, fairs, conferences, lectures etc., as well as translation to English of art critics and other text regarding Norwegian artists, and the participation of art magazines at international art fairs.
