Experienced artists/artist teams are invited to apply to design and create a large-scale, two-dimensional public artwork for the redevelopment at Hiawatha-Lake. Artist/artist teams must have a proven track record working in and with the community and in creating complex two-dimensional public artworks.

  
**Timeline:**

* March + April 2025 - Planning and preparation
* Spring and Summer 2025 - Engagement
* Summer and Fall 2025 - Installation

The total **budget** for the public art project is a maximum $369,000 which includes $150,000 for the community

engagement and design phase and $218,000 for the fabrication and installation phase. This budget will cover all the artist/artist team’s fees, subcontractor fees, and any expenses.
