The Lakkos Artists Residency is a multidisciplinary place for all creatives. There is one residency based in Heraklion city, the other is half an hour away at the base of the largest mountain on Crete. Both projects aim to bring creativity to areas that needed revitalizing. There is a minimum stay of two weeks at either location. The city residency is based over three old stone houses. Maximum artists at one time is three singles, or more if couples attend. There is one visual artist and one writer permanently based there. Presentation and one night exhibitions are possible but not mandatory. Mural painting and music events are often made.
