WABI-SABI is a Japanese term that refers to that which is impermanent, imperfect, aged, humbled, and unconventional. It is a state of mind and a way of being. It expresses a whole new world of seeing. Perhaps being open to mistakes and accidents will lead us somewhere new, beautiful, and authentic. As artists, we know this all too well.
