2022 residency program

The Wellsville Creative Arts Center offers two one-year artist-in-residence positions for ceramic artists. We are now accepting applications for the 2022–2023 year, with the appointments running from August 2022–August 2023.

Residents must contribute ten hours of work per week to the WCAC studio. Tasks are determined by the Studio Manager, but may include making clay, mixing glazes, loading and firing kilns, maintaining kiln shelves and furniture, helping install work in the café gallery, and general organizing and cleaning. An important aspect of the residency program is participation in our community of teachers and students. Residents must be available to interact with other studio members and become an integral part of our community.
