art residency in mexico

Jupiterfab Arts Residency is a nonprofit organization that supports art projects and artists with a special focus to social impact.

We are based in Guadalajara (Mexico).

We are inviting artists from other countries and regions to come and run a project. We are quite open in terms of media.

The residency is open to artists staying from 2 to 6 months. At the end of your stay, you’ll have the opportunity to have an event (e.g., exhibit, installation, presentation etc.) at our center. We will offer you complete support in terms of logistics and communication.

Although it’s not a requirement, we encourage artists to work on projects relating to our community or on relevant social topics, such as gentrification, immigration, social justice, poverty, homelessness, etc.

Last but not least, we are partnering with our community on a mural arts project to reflect the beauty and vibrancy of our area. Residents can be part of the project and paint a mural if they want. We will help with ladders or scaffolding and acrylic industrial color.
