giga photo contest 2025: the joy of connection

Giga is excited to announce our inaugural competition with the theme "The Joy of Connection".

We will have a panel of 6 esteemed jury members from around the world. The judging will be held on 6 and 7 May, 2025 in Geneva and winners will be announced on our social media channels.

Launched in 2019, Giga is a partnership between UNICEF and ITU that aims to connect every school in the world to the Internet. At Giga, we understand that photography, when coupled with the internet, is a powerful tool of connecting us with the world. This is why we aim to launch the Giga Photo Contest, based in Geneva, on the theme, "The Joy of Connection", to highlight the role internet connectivity plays in providing information, opportunity, and choice.
