HEDLANDET RESIDENCE

• A STOP IN TIME AND SPACE Hedlandet residence is a stop for cross-border process-oriented artistic practice, a stop that offers opportunities for development and collaboration in, above all, drama, film, comics and performing arts, scientific research and game development.

  Hedlandet is located in Torna Hällestad just outside Lund in Skåne. Near Kaninlandet - a small nature reserve with valuable sandy soils where rabbits and red-listed insects thrive. Knivsåsen passes outside the veranda and the place is surrounded by beech forest. Within walking distance, Trollskogen and Revingehed spread out, two unique, magnificent and special places.

  The house is surrounded by fantastic nature that opens the senses, fills the soul and raises the gaze. Here you have the opportunity for bird watching, kosafari and nature walks - we can tell you more about this once you are here.

  If you are a professional narrator, you are welcome to apply for a workplace scholarship that includes your own room and your own workplace. Here you can work individually or together with others with a project, assignment, explore an old or new idea, conduct a workshop, invite to conversations. You decide the length of your stay and there is also the possibility of a day residence for you who live nearby.

  The house is called Gamlegård and has received guests for almost a hundred years. At the bottom there is a large room with a magnificent glass veranda. There is also a large kitchen and a study. Upstairs are four bedrooms and two more study rooms. Adjacent to the house there is also a sauna. The standard is good and can probably best be described as - charmingly simple!
