Nautical Club Ohrid – Architecture Competition Participants are invited to submit innovative adaptive-reuse projects focused on the “Youth Union Summer Retreat” building in Ohrid, working on the recover y of this modern heritage left unused for over twenty years. Taking inspiration from Boris Chipan's original program, the competition requires the design of a Nautical & Social Club open to both the local community and the seasonal tourists. The idea is to conceive a dynamic social space capable of attracting citizens and visitors to the western side of the lakefront, providing an engaging alternative to the fanciest Eastern Ohrid. The main challenge will be to envision how this 70+ years old structure could serve the needs of a contemporary vibrant lake-club.
