Two artists will be selected for one-month residencies in 2026, each receiving a $2,500 stipend, lodging, studio space, tools, and supplemental materials. Artists can propose any type of project that uses 90% of recycled materials found at the Olmsted Recycling Center and Landfill such as cardboard, paper, glass, plastic, aluminum, metals, furniture and more. Artists must participate in one unveiling event, and lead at least one community engagement activity, also proposed in the application. This residency promotes sustainability, creative reuse, and environmental education while tracking the impact of waste diversion.
