SERPE SOTTO LA PIETRA invites artists, creatives, designers and collectives of all ages and backgrounds to reinterpret the intangible heritage of the Valmarecchia and Montefeltro territories through contemporary languages, exploring the subtle boundary between the sacred and the magical, between protection and danger, between what is written and what is whispered. The area of exploration, with its ever-changing landscape of gentle hills and rocky outcrops, has for centuries preserved tales of healers, witches, goblins and saints. Here, the natural and the divine intertwine in an intangible heritage made of rituals, beliefs and symbols, passed down orally and resistant to the transformations of modernity.
