Two types of residencies are offered by the Archipel Butor: A creative residency financed by Annemasse Agglo for a period of two months every year. Collaborations with other cultural structures for the reception of artists in residence within the framework of the provision of spaces.

The aim of the residency is to welcome an author with a project to create an artist's book in collaboration with a visual artist or a publisher. This stay, which should be a privileged moment of reflection and creation, will allow the author to devote himself to a project of writing a book of dialogue and will contribute to highlight the culture of the artist's book and the collaboration at the centre of the artistic process.

Are you a writer or poet, a visual artist and do you want to create a book in dialogue with an author? You must apply in pairs. It is not necessary to have worked together on previous projects.
