Dear Artist,
Take your work beyond the studio and place it within the energy of Tokyo.
Art Seen is selecting 40 visual artists for a collective digital billboard showcase at Shibuya Crossroad, one of Tokyo’s busiest and most recognisable public locations.
Selected artworks will appear together on a giant outdoor screen measuring approximately 3.34 metres high and 6.7 metres wide.
This is not a traditional gallery exhibition.
It is an opportunity for your work to become part of the movement, lights and visual rhythm of Shibuya—seen in public rather than hidden online.
Each selected artist will be included in the collective digital screen loop, with 22 rotations throughout the showcase day. All artists will receive shared visibility as part of the same public presentation.
The opportunity is open to visual artists working across painting, photography, illustration, digital art, graphic design, mixed media and other screen-ready visual practices.
Artwork must be submitted in a 1:1 square format, suitable for digital-screen presentation, as a high-resolution JPG or PNG file.
All submissions must be appropriate for public display. Content involving nudity, violence, smoking, insulting material or other unsuitable imagery will not be accepted.
