windrush legacies grant

We are proud to announce that applications are now open for the (1)948 Windrush Legacies Grant! This grant is dedicated to supporting two creative and/or cultural practitioners who are direct descendants of the Windrush Generation. It aims to fund projects that pay tribute to the migration of Caribbean people who reshaped Britain’s cultural and creative landscape, empowering a new generation to carry this remarkable legacy forward.

Applicants can submit one proposal per individual/ collective that speaks to the purpose of the grant. An independent judging panel will select two recipients of the (1)948 Windrush Legacies Grant and they will receive £2,500 to help bring a project to life that explores the theme of legacy - be that the one we inherit or the one we create.
