ACENTRICSPACE® artist-in-residence encourages young artists to continue their practice after graduation and assists established artists who are inspired in a new environment. Aims to provide an ideal creative, living, and exhibition space for resident artists. It opens to all contemporary artists throughout the year. During the residency, artists are encouraged to create a new body of work and engage in conversation with artists from China and around the world. Since the launch of the artist-in-residence program in October 2017, over 180 artists have participated in the artist-in-residence program.

ACENTRICSPACE The building itself covers an area of about 600 square meters, with 4 floors. The ground floor contains 6 private studios within shared studio space (about 220 square meters total) and 3 storage rooms. The 1st floor is filled with exhibition spaces, a cafe/kitchen, a laundry room, a restroom, and 2 courtyards. The 2nd floor contains 7 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms. The 3rd floor contains the office and the rooftop terrace. exhibition space, studio, and accommodation are all in the same building, for a more convenient living and working environment.
