ESC always exists a decade ahead. It isn’t a theme — it’s the space we step into, ten years in the future, looking back at the present. What happens when wild animals become pets? When bots talk only to each other, do we still matter? If AI creates for us, do we finally have space to look inward? As life drifts further into virtual space, what keeps it real?
