open call for exhibitions 2025

Emerging and mid-career artists are invited to submit their work for consideration in our group exhibition, put together by our 2025-26 Curator-in-Residence.

KUNSTRAUM is a community of artists by artists with the goal of redefining how artists and curators collaborate. Through our program, we aim to explore the relationship between artists and curators by opening our gallery spaces to unconventional, engaging ideas and risk-taking.

Our gallery space is a 250 sq. ft. area inside a 1,000 sq. ft. co-working loft located at 20 Grand Avenue, a beautifully renovated factory building in Clinton Hill neighborhood of Brooklyn, near the Navy Yard. Exhibitions are on view for four weeks, plus an additional six months online via KUNSTRAUM’s website. Please note that the artist must cover their shipping expenses and any presentation needs, such as equipment or pedestals. Opportunity to sell works, with 50% of the proceeds going to the artist, the rest will be divided between the curator and KUNSTRAUM.
