The city of Linz, as a UNESCO City of Media Arts, is sending another strong signal for media art with its special funding program LINZ_media_arts, focusing on the local scene. The attention that the international media art scene has focused on Linz since 1979 through Ars Electronica will be used in particular to bring the artistic work of local artists into the spotlight.
