Wonju City of Literature offers an opportunity for one writer from a city of literature to come to Wonju and stay at Toji Cultural Centre in South Korea for eight weeks.

In the call of 2026, as in previous years, one writer from cities of literature and/or who has a close connection to cities of literature will benefit from the Wonju Residency 2026. The residency will run from 1st September to 31st October 2026 and includes a round-trip air fare, transportation on arrival and departure dates, accommodation with a workspace, and organic meals at the Toji Cultural Centre cafeteria.
