residencies 2026 bucharest

For 2026, the Landis & Gyr Foundation is awarding artist residencies of between one and four months in Bucharest to individuals or artistic duos. Unlike the independently run studios in London, Budapest and Zug, the studio accommodation in Bucharest is affiliated with the New Europe College Bucharest (NEC Bucharest). The Foundation maintains an apartment at the NEC’s premises on Strada Plantelor in the city centre. The building houses the New Europe College (NEC), and NEC international fellows also reside there.
