traffic control cabinet wraps: public art call

The City of Commerce City and the Commerce City Cultural Council seek to purchase digital artwork for ten traffic control cabinet wrappings throughout prominent roadways in Commerce City.

The locations have been predetermined by monitoring high traffic intersections throughout Commerce City. We expect these boxes to be seen by 70,000 drivers daily.

The art selection committee for the traffic control cabinets seeks INSPIRATIONAL artwork that is evocative of the natural history of the area, celebrates culture, Commerce City community and unity, evokes joy and delight, and has a pleasing and uplifting effect on the commuters who see it. It should be appropriate for all ages to enjoy.
