residencies 2026 zug

The Landis & Gyr Foundation maintains a residence with three apartments and one smaller studio apartment in the annex of the former Maria Opferung convent in Zug. The three larger apartments are reserved for writers and translators from East-Central and Southeast Europe who have been personally invited by the Foundation.

Artist residencies in Zug of one, two or three months can be applied for annually. These are awarded exclusively to Swiss writers and literary translators, who are accommodated in the studio apartment. The accommodation in Zug offers a quiet space to live and work.
