The Academy for Teachers is offering a unique artist residency in partnership with Foundation House, specifically for New York City teacher-artists. This 10-day residency, running from July 25 – August 3, 2025, provides eight full-time educators with an opportunity to immerse themselves in their creative practices.

Foundation House, a nonprofit focused on wellness, the environment, and social justice, invites teachers from all artistic disciplines to apply. This residency offers a chance to deepen artistic work while fostering important conversations around these core values.
