This open call is for an emerging or mid-career London-based artist to take up a free studio for three years, from 7 July 2025 to 25 June 2028\. This life-changing opportunity to join Gasworks’ artistic community has been developed in response to the lack of stable, affordable studio provision for artists based in London. It is made possible for the first time in Gasworks’ history with the generous support of Knotenpunkt (Isabelle Nowak and Torsten Winkler).

**The selected artist will receive:**

* 24/7 access to a private 17-square-metre private studio at Gasworks
* An annual materials stipend of £1,000 each year
* Regular invitations to Gasworks’ activities, including Open Studios, exhibition openings and networking events
* The opportunity to present their practice to a relevant audience as part of an annual Knotenpunkt ‘Playground’ event at Knotenpunkt’s base in Central London
