Quiet, Independent Work Time in Chiang Mai – STUDIOS 94
OVERVIEWThe Private Studio Residency at STUDIOS 94 is ideal for artists and creative professionals who need a fully private, lockable studio and bedroom to focus deeply, experiment freely, and run their practice independently.
Located in central Chiang Mai beside a large art supply shop, our five-story creative building includes an art gallery, coworking floor, workshop rooms, rooftop, lounge, and kitchen. We host up to three residents per month, creating a calm, respectful, and intimate residency experience.
PROGRAM DESCRIPTION
As a Private Studio Resident, you’ll receive:
- A private bedroom with desk
- Your own enclosed, private studio room
- Full access to shared spaces (coworking, rooftop, kitchen, lounge, gallery)
This setup is ideal for painters, tattoo artists, creative entrepreneurs, designers, writers, and workshop facilitators seeking space to experiment, produce, or host.
We currently offer two types of studio spaces to fit different needs:
Touch Studio
Spacious and light-filled, this studio is perfect for mixed-media artists, Designers, and workshop hosts who need space to move, build, or make a mess. Flexible for creative sessions or public-facing work.
Playroom Studio
A quieter, more refined setup for tattoo artists, designers, photographers, or creatives working digitally or with more contained processes. Great for appointment-based work or temporary pop-ups.
All rooms have large windows (with curtains for privacy), fans or A/C, and 24/7 access.

FEES
Residency Fee: 69,000 THB per month
(~ €1,821.13 EUR / $2,084.59 USD)
Deposit: 1-month deposit required to confirm booking
Deposit Policy:
Non-refundable if cancelled.
Returned within 14 days of departure if no damages or outstanding fees.

- Meals or food
- Art materials, tools, or equipment
- Travel costs, flight, or visa support
- Private room cleaning (residents clean their own bedrooms)
- Health, travel, or artwork insurance
- Formal mentorship or curatorial support (available upon request)
- Studio materials or additional workshop equipment (available to rent or bring your own)
ELIGIBILITY
- Open to international and Thai creatives
- Ideal for visual artists, tattoo artists, digital creatives, and small-scale workshop leaders
- Must respect our house rules: no parties, no loud noise, and shared-space respect
- Self-led, independent, and proactive creatives encouraged
