Thanks to the generosity of our supporters, VCCA is proud to offer a rotating selection of fully-funded fellowships.
Applicants will be considered for a VCCA residency and as many fully-funded fellowships for which they are eligible; only one application with a single application fee is required per deadline.

SoHyun Bae Sponsored Residency
Who: Painters in the early stages of their career
What: Two-week residency at Mt. San Angelo
When: Fall 2026 (September – December)
Alonzo Davis Fellowship
Who: American writers, visual artists, and composers, with preference given to those of African or Latin American descent
What: Two-week residency at Mt. San Angelo; $500 honorarium

Greater Opportunity Fellowships
Who: Artists in any discipline who have not previously been in residence at VCCA, with preference given to those who self-identify as people of colorWhat: Residency of up to two-weeks at Mt. San Angelo

Who: Two artists working together on an artistic project combining words and music

Marian Treger Fellowship for Enduring Creativity
Who: Female-identifying fiction writers, screenwriters, or visual artists, emerging in mid-life and beyond, whose creative paths may have been detoured or hindered by chronic health conditions or disabilities
What: Two-week residency at Mt. San Angelo; $400 stipend
