intimate collaboration

Through this series our collective invites artists to work, expand and explore a certain theme which is related to their practice, through a close collaboration with our collective.

This is typically by invitation or initiated by artists who reach out because they want to develop one of their projects with us.

The aim is to continue investigating ASTROs proposed themes through a more intimate, personal study and approach than our larger anual open calls, and embrace a transdisciplinary exploration of those through openness and mutual collaboration.

We invite artists whose work - either in a proposed or in progress state - explores similar themes as ours to expand their research alongside us.As part of this collaboration we learn and work with each other.

We as a collective offer curatorial support, portfilio review, promotion and documentation of the different stages of research for the artist and the final result—which can still be a "work in progress"—of their time with us.
