Open Call: Project Week For Young Choreographers

  
A project week from 8-15 April for young choreographers and composers at the Choreographic Centre of the Tanzhaus Basel.

**When**: 8-15 April 2025

  
**Objective:** The aim is to network the artists and exchange ideas and serves the creative development of choreographic and compositional work. The decisive factor is the musical-choreographic composition from the encounter in order to create a moment of joint dialogue in the creation of a piece.

• For one week, seven professional choreographers and composers work together with 14 dancers and 14 musicians at Tanzhaus Basel.

• Within one day, newly choreographed and composed short dance pieces will be created with one to three musicians and dancers.

• Each composer and each choreographer will work together once.

• The resulting pieces are performed in public every evening.

• The work sessions last a maximum of seven hours a day.

• Each piece has a minimum duration of three to a maximum of six minutes.
