This annual prize is open to all professional photographers on the French scene (French creators or artists working and/or residing in France, regardless of their nationality) developing an auteur photography. A grant of 6,000 euros will support the winning photographer in finalizing an ongoing photographic series that combines photography (in all its forms) and science (all disciplines), in France and/or abroad.
The winning project will be presented in the form of an exhibition at Villa Pérochon CACP in the fall of 2027. The winner will receive display rights for this exhibition worth 1,000 euros and the production will be directly managed by Villa Pérochon CACP up to 2,000 euros (production within the Villa Pérochon laboratories or via an external provider).
Following the first exhibition, Villa Pérochon will do everything possible, in conjunction with the winner, to facilitate the circulation of the existing exhibition within cultural structures, including those of the Diagonal network, a national network bringing together structures for the production and dissemination of contemporary photography in France (the cost of transporting the works round trip and the remuneration of the winner will be covered by the host structure).
The winner will also benefit from dedicated communication with media partners. The presentation of the complete series will also be the subject of a round table discussion with screening at ADAGP in Paris (attendance of the winner is mandatory).
